Get this unique silhouette that can not be found anywhere else. Our Callahan Cutaway Sack Coat is a faithful replica of coats worn by Victorian gentlemen to show off their favorite vests. Coats were worn buttoned only at the top and allowed to fall open to highlight the man抯 vest and pocket watch chain. An added bonus, men didn抰 have to unbutton their coats to sit.

Our stylish coat features a notch collar and slightly slim fit. No exterior pockets, however two pockets can be found inside. This sack coat measures approx. 35 inches in length which is a little longer than the standard sack coat.

Fashioned from a blend of 70% polyester, 18% wool and 12% rayon with satin lining. Imported. Dry clean only. Available in sizes 26-52.

PLEASE NOTE: This coat is meant to button ONLY with the top button. Although all of the buttons and buttonholes are functional, wearing the coat fully buttoned will result in a poor fit through the chest and shoulders.

Sizing Notes

Our coats are made with typical American sizing, meaning your chest measurement (in inches) is the size you should choose.

To measure your chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest. If your belly measures larger than your chest, use your belly measurement for coat size.

Longs: If indicated in the selection list (e.g. 46L,) long sizes may also be available. Longs are approximately 2" longer in the back and sleeves.
