I bought two petti coats for a show- always a great price considering what it would cost me to make myself. I ended up not needing one of them, and shipped it back around Christmas, assuming it would be a long wait until all the holidays were over to get the return credit. Blouse is made of seriously sturdy cotton, ruffles are girly and I doubt they will wilt! Was not described as 'pirate' wear, which would have lessened the surprise at the substantial feel of the item. Nonetheless will fit well with the outfit I'm wearing it with, and am pleased to have bought the first of what I believe will be many items from Historical Emporium

I have ordered before and I was not disappointed. The selection is great and the items are good quality. I was gathering items for a Halloween costume and they added the authenticity I was looking for. I'll be back.

These are good quality garments, sturdy and stylish enough for everyday wear. I frequently get compliments when I wear these products to work and around town. Items are always delivered within a couple of days. Even made-to-order items are delivered quickly. I live less than 100 miles from their location, but the quick arrival time is a very good indication t hat once an order is received, the items are shipped quickly. I once had occasion to call customer service to ask for buttons for a discontinued product. The person I spoke to was attentive, efficient, and polite. Two days later, the buttons arrived - free of charge. Historical Emporium is my favorite place to buy clothes. I regularly also shop at J. Peterman, L.L. Bean, and Brooks Brothers. H.E. Stands right alongside these other respected (and more well-known) companies.
